2026 has been a year of continued international engagement for GSCI Advanced Photonics, as the company has connected with defence communities, industry partners, government representatives, and end users across key global markets.
From North America to Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, GSCI has participated in major defence and security events, field demonstrations, and industry engagements throughout the year. These activities have provided opportunities to strengthen relationships with allied nations, exchange technical knowledge, understand operational requirements, and showcase electro-optical solutions designed for demanding environments.
Across these engagements, GSCI has highlighted its capabilities in night vision, thermal imaging, sensor fusion, EO/IR, and laser-based systems, while continuing to support customers with ITAR-free solutions, ISO-certified manufacturing, and mission-ready technologies designed and manufactured in Canada.
Defence requirements continue to evolve, driven by emerging threats, operational complexity, and the need for enhanced situational awareness. GSCI remains focused on maintaining close engagement with the international defence community, listening to user requirements, exchanging technical knowledge, and demonstrating its technologies directly to professionals.
The year began in Las Vegas at SHOT Show 2026, where GSCI presented its portfolio of night vision, thermal imaging, and fusion technologies to an international audience of defence, law enforcement, and tactical professionals.
GSCI’s international engagement continued at the World Defense Show in Riyadh, where discussions focused on defence partnerships, technology cooperation, integration, and sustainment capabilities. The event provided an opportunity to engage with stakeholders in one of the world’s rapidly developing defence markets.
In Europe, GSCI strengthened its presence through participation at Enforce Tac in Nuremberg, BEDEX in Brussels, and Eurosatory in Paris, engaging with defence professionals, industry partners, and international delegations.
At CANSEC 2026 in Ottawa, GSCI connected with Canadian and international defence stakeholders, strengthening relationships within the Canadian defence ecosystem while showcasing its latest electro-optical capabilities.
These engagements reflect GSCI’s continued commitment to supporting allied defence communities and developing a deeper understanding of the operational challenges faced by military and security professionals.

Throughout 2026, GSCI has showcased technologies developed to address these requirements, including advanced night vision systems, thermal imaging solutions, sensor fusion technologies, precision aiming systems, laser rangefinders, and fire-control solutions.
At SOF Week 2026 in Tampa, GSCI focused on the requirements of special operations communities, highlighting solutions such as HELM-FX, a helmet-mounted system combining night vision and thermal capabilities, and HAMR-X, an advanced precision aiming solution.
These engagements provided opportunities to demonstrate how integrated electro-optical capabilities can support operators who require reliable performance across dynamic and challenging environments.
While exhibitions provide valuable opportunities for technical discussions and industry engagement, operational validation remains an important part of defence technology development.
In 2026, GSCI continued to support field demonstrations and evaluations that allowed end users to assess system performance in realistic environments.
During field trials with the Royal Thai Army and specialized units, including the Infantry Center, Special Forces, ONCB, and Marine Reconnaissance units, GSCI systems including LUX-14™, PVS-31C-MOD, TI-GEAR-MR6S, and NOMAD were evaluated for operational performance.
Additional hands-on demonstrations took place during events such as Enforce Tac’s tactical demonstrations and Rampart Range Day, allowing operators to interact directly with electro-optical and laser solutions.
These opportunities provide valuable feedback from users and reinforce GSCI’s focus on developing equipment around real-world mission requirements.
Continuing International Engagement
GSCI’s international engagement has continued into the second half of 2026, including participation at DALO Industry Days 2026 in Herning, Denmark.
DALO Industry Days brought together defence organizations, operational units, industry professionals, decision-makers, and international delegations for discussions, demonstrations, and networking across the defence and security sector.
At Stand C-2534, GSCI presented selected systems from its electro-optical portfolio, including the PVS-31C-4B tactical binocular night vision system, NOMAD-X multi-spectrum aiming device, and QRF-4500®-BC ballistic-solving laser rangefinder and fire-control system.
The event provided another opportunity for GSCI to engage directly with defence professionals from Denmark, Europe, and the wider international defence community and discuss requirements for night vision, thermal imaging, EO/IR and multi-spectrum systems, laser aiming, laser rangefinding, and fire-control technologies.
For GSCI, these conversations are an important part of understanding how defence requirements are evolving and where electro-optical technologies can provide practical operational value.
GSCI’s participation in international defence events goes beyond showcasing individual products.
