Connecting Canadian Precision Electro-Optics with NATO-aligned European Operational Requirements: GSCI at MSPO 2026

KIELCE, POLAND – September 15, 2026 — General Starlight Company Inc. (GSCI Advanced Photonics) showcased advanced electro-optical and photonics systems at MSPO 2026, the 34th International Defence Industry Exhibition, held September 8–11 in Kielce, Poland. As the premier ITAR-free Canadian manufacturer of night vision, thermal imaging, and multi-sensor fusion solutions, GSCI participated in the Canadian Pavilion (Booth 7-B18) alongside NATO allies, European defence integrators, and international procurement delegations.

With Canada serving as Lead Nation at MSPO 2026, the exhibition underscored strengthening defence-industrial cooperation between North America, Poland, and the broader NATO alliance. Night Vision Integration: PVS-31C-4B Dual-Tube Tactical System

GSCI demonstrated its PVS-31C-4B, a dual-tube (binocular) night vision platform incorporating Exosens 5G Generation Image Intensifier Tubes (IITs) selected for NATO close-combat operations. Key performance metrics:

 

  • Figure of Merit (FOM): 2,500–2,800 (exceeds NATO STANAG 4349 requirements for tactical-grade night vision)
  • Modular integration points for thermal fusion, laser aiming, and head-mount adaptation

GSCI presented the QRF-4500®-BC, a 1550 nm eye-safe laser rangefinder designed for NATO-compliant long-range targeting:

 

  • Maximum range: 4.5 km (validated to NATO target-signature profiles)
  • Integrated fire-control suite: GPS, compass, ballistic solver, environmental compensation
  • Eye-safe wavelength (1550 nm) meets IEC 60825-1 laser safety standards
